The ride will commerce at the cafe up to the eastern edge of the Cauvery Peak. From there the ride will ascend up to Cauvery Peak. Riders can view the old railway petroleum wagons which were dragged up there by elephants and placed for water storage. This preceded the present roads. Beyond this there will be a spectacular view of Mettur dam and the Cauvery river on the western horizon only if weather permits and there is water in the dam. After this the riders will descend back to the cafe. This is the most comprehensive tour of Cauvery Peak estate.
Recommended : jeans, walking shoes, sunglasses, rain jacket, hat depending on weather.
